Fund Access Forward supports organizations that provide abortion care, focusing on regions with the least access.
To date, Fund Access Forward has invested in multiple organizations and projects that directly support our mission to ensure affordable, timely, and private medication abortion care, wherever you live.
Aria Medical Clinic
When multiple states implemented total abortion bans after the Dobb’s decision, wait times for abortion appointments in Kansas exceeded 10 weeks. Aria Medical launched in January 2023, to ensure no one had to wait more than 7 days for a medication abortion, and no one was delayed care due to inability to pay.
Since that time, Aria has served over 7,000 patients, mostly from Texas and Oklahoma.
Aria at JustCenter
To support abortion access in central Appalachia where wait times have exceeded 2-4 weeks, Aria Medical partnered with JustChoice, an all-options family planning center, to provide medication abortions in their Columbus and Cincinnati clinics.

Expand Access to Abortion Providers
To support abortion access in Kansas and surrounding states, Aria is suing the state of Kansas to allow midwives and nurse practitioners to do medication abortions. If successful, more local providers will be able to offer abortion services, addressing the critical physician shortage in the Great Plains.
Increase Capacity for Mail-Order Abortions
To protect access to abortion pills by mail for women in every state, Fund Access Forward gave start-up funds to support the launch of a second mail-order pharmacy. Currently, only one US pharmacy serves all states, putting supply at risk.

Expand Access to Wrap-Around Services
Fund Access Forward provided a grant to the Pegasus Health Justice Center (PHJC) as they built out critically needed services for patients requiring ectopic pregnancy treatment and miscarriage management — services that are difficult to find in the Dallas area.
