The Fund Access Forward team is a small but mighty collective of doctors, privacy and policy experts, veteran public health advocates, and motivated allies who believe in access to safe, timely, private, and affordable abortions, regardless of ability to pay.

Trust: We never share your personal information.
The IRS requires us to privately report donations of $5000 and more, unless the donation comes from a donor advised fund (DAF); otherwise, we never share donor names.
Our Founder
Our Founder, Dr. K, has been an abortion provider for over 25 years. A dedicated family physician, she is passionate about access to health care, regardless of geography and ability to pay.
Recognized and appreciated for her empathy, brilliance and dedication to patient care, Dr. K was selected by California’s governor to lead behavioral health policy for public programs. During her tenure, she led several statewide policy initiatives, including expanding addiction treatment and improving mental health services.
In 2022, Dr. K sprang into action in response to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned the constitutional right to abortion. She built new programs to ensure access to reproductive health care in emergency departments, by telehealth, and in-person at clinics located on the borders of states banning abortion care.
Dr. K founded Aria Medical Clinic in Kansas, which has served thousands of abortion seekers from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and other states. She co-founded Access Bridge, now active in over 35 states, which works to ensure access to critical reproductive health services in emergency departments.
In 2024, Dr. K founded Fund Access Forward with the mission to ensure affordable, timely, and private medication abortion care, wherever you live. This nonprofit organization enables our supporters to privately give tax-deductible donations.
Our Team
Our Policy Director is a registered lobbyist in four states, fighting for health equity and bodily autonomy. They have spent their career expanding access to reproductive and gender-affirming care, as a consultant advising providers and as an instructor in social policy.
